Pratibha yojana: The Tribal Affairs Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh launched the Pratibha Yojana on 1.9.2016. Its purpose is to encourage students of ST (Scheduled Tribe) category for higher education. This gives financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe students who have passed the National Competitive Examination. These exams are JEE, NEET, CLAT, AIIMS and NDA. Students of ST class students who get admission in IIT, NIT, NLU, MBBS (Government College in Madhya Pradesh), AIIMS and NDA also get the benefit of talent scheme.
What are the benefits of Pratibha Yojana?
- If the annual income of the family is Rs 3 lakh, then the student gets 50 thousand rupees.
- If the annual income of the family is more than Rs 3 lakh, then the student gets 25 thousand rupees.
Note- The money is sent to the student’s bank account. It should be linked to Aadhaar.
What is qualification for talent scheme?
- Applicant should be a student.
- Students should be from Madhya Pradesh.
- Students should be from ST category.
- The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 6 lakh.
- Students pass any national competitive exam. Such as Jee, NEET, CLAT, AIIMS and NDA.
The student has taken admission in one of the institutions mentioned below…
- JEE to IIT/NIT
- MBBS from NEET from Government College in Madhya Pradesh
- Clat to nlu
- UPSC to NDA
note 1- The basis of the applicant should be linked to his bank account.
note 2- The applicant should have a receipt for admission to the institute mentioned above.
How to register for talent scheme?
- Step 1 – Go to the official website of the Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh.
- Step 2- MPTAASC will be seen on the home page. Click on it.
- Step 3- New Beneficiary Profile Registration will be seen in the login section. Click on it.
- Step 4- Fill the form and submit the necessary documents.
- Step 5- Check the information given about yourself once. Then click on the Submit button.
- Step 6- After submitting the form, check your email and SMS. Here you will be sent to user ID and password.
How to apply for talent scheme?
- Step 1- Go again to the website of Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh.
- Step 2- On the home page you will see MPtaASC. Click on it.
- Step 3- Fill your user ID, password and captcha code. Click on Login button.
- Step 4- PMS will be seen on the dassboard. Click on it and choose Apply for Scheme.
- Step 5- Fill the online application form, upload the required document and submit it.
- Step 6- After submitting the form, take out the print of the application for your record.
To take advantage of Pratibha Yojana, it is necessary to take care of these things
- note 1- It is mandatory for the applicant to register the beneficiary profile.
- note 2- After admission in the institute, qualified students can apply for talent scheme.
- note 3- The student has taken admission, it is confirmed by his institute.
- Note 4- The officer checks the application and the student or not, whether or not.
- Note 5- Information related to the current status of the application is sent to the registered email ID and phone number.
