What is PM Svanidhi scheme?
The PM Swanidhi Yojana started on 1 June 2020, so that street vendors and small street vendors could get relief during the Kovid-19 epidemic. Under this scheme, beneficiaries get cheaper loans, provide digital transactions and empower them through business, financial and digital training. The total budget of the scheme is Rs 7,332 crore and its goal is to benefit a total of 1.15 crore people including 50 lakh new beneficiaries.
How much will the loan be available in PM Swanidhi Yojana now?
According to the new update, the loan amount of this scheme has been changed. Now the first phase loan has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. The second phase loan has been increased from Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, while the third phase loan will be only Rs 50,000 as before.
How to get cards and cashback in PM Self -Ridhi Scheme?
Now vendors will be given Rupay Credit Card related to UPI. On repaying the second loan, you will get instant credit. Cashback of up to Rs 1,600 is also available on digital payment. With these digital features, vendors can easily withdraw money for their business and personal expenses.
Who gets the benefit of PM Swanidhi Yojana?
Earlier this scheme was limited to cities only, but now it will be gradually extended to Sensus Town, Perry-Araban areas and rural areas. Its goal is that more and more street vendors can take advantage of this.
