Can every type of book be sent?
- No. Knowledge Post has some strict rules-
- “Gyan Post” should be clearly written on the packet.
- There should be no advertisements in books.
- It is necessary to have the name of the publisher or printer on every book.
- Business or trade books are not acceptable.
- Magazines and journals cannot be sent under this service.
- Weight should be between 300 grams to 5 kg.
Special programs for children too?
Yes. On the occasion of Vasant Panchami, India Post organized special educational programs across the country. Children of classes 4 and 5 were given moral stories and books on Philately.
