At the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, Rahul Gandhi attacked the Central Government and the Election Commission strongly at the conclusion of the Voter Adhikar Yatra. He said that the Congress will soon make a big disclosure of the voter list, which will be called “hydrogen bomb”.
Hydrogen bomb: The Voter Adhikar Yatra ended at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. While giving a speech on the occasion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the Central Government and the Election Commission fiercely. Warned that the Congress will soon drop the “hydrogen bomb” of rigging revelations in the voter list. Rahul Gandhi used the word hydrogen bomb to give weight to his rhetoric. In real life, it is very dreadful to talk about it to talk about dropping hydrogen bombs. It is even more fatal than atomic bombs. Let’s know what is hydrogen bomb and do India have such a weapon.

What is hydrogen bomb?
According to Britannica.com, the hydrogen bomb is actually thermonuclear bomb. Due to too much heat, two atoms of hydrogen together form an atom of helium. This process is called Nuclear Fusion. This leads to a lot of energy. Once the process of making helium from hydrogen starts, it does not stop until the entire hydrogen in the bomb is transformed into helium.
The Sun gets energy from this nuclear fusion process. The high temperature required for the onset of nuclear fusion arises from the explosion of the atomic bomb. In this way, a hydrogen bomb also contains atomic bombs. The first atomic bomb has a blast. This is followed by a hydrogen bomb blast. Thermonuclear bombs can be hundreds or thousand times more powerful than atomic bombs.
How different is hydrogen bomb from atomic bomb?
According to Britannica.com, the method of functioning atoms bombs and hydrogen bombs is different. A heavy atom in the atomic bomb breaks down and divides into two parts. It collapses two when a neutron collides with a nucleus of uranium-235 or plutonium-239. Each nucleus consists of about half of the original nucleus and neutrons. Due to this process of breakdown of atoms, large amounts of energy and radioactive rays come out. This causes heavy destruction. In simple words, a heavy atom in the atomic bomb breaks down and transforms into two light atoms. On the other hand, two light atoms in the hydrogen bomb form a heavy atom.

Does India have hydrogen bombs?
Yes, India is one of the few countries that have hydrogen bombs or thermonuclear bombs. India conducted 5 nuclear tests in Pokhran, Rajasthan on 11 and 13 May 1998. The first three explosions took place on 11 May at 15:45 pm Indian time. These included a 45 kiloton thermonuclear bomb, a 15 kiloton atomic bomb and a 0.2 kiloton sub-kiloton (ie less than 1 kiloton). On May 13, two bomb tests were done simultaneously. These were atomic bombs of all-Kilotan range (0.5 and 0.3 kilotons).
