Pakistan said that the Pak Army has killed more than 200 Taliban terrorists in the encounter. Pak Army made it clear that many big terrorists were also included among those killed. According to Geo TV report, the Pakistani Army said in a statement that it has carried out precise strikes and raids on Taliban camps, posts, terrorist training centers and networks operating from Afghan territory.
Many Taliban hideouts on the border have been destroyed. 21 posts on the Afghan side of the border have also been captured. Reports say that several terrorist training camps that were planning and carrying out attacks against Pakistan have also been destroyed. Pakistan has described this action as self-defense. Pakistan has warned that if there is any further provocation, a strong response will be given. Saudi Arabia and Qatar have appealed for restraint.
Earlier, the Taliban had claimed that at least 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 injured in a retaliatory attack in response to the Kabul attack. Pakistan is ignoring the presence of ISIS on its soil. Afghanistan has the right to defend its air and land borders. Any attack will definitely be responded to. Pakistan should either expel the ISIS members hiding on its soil or hand them over to Afghanistan. Taliban also said that ISIS group is a threat to many countries of the world including Afghanistan.
