Fasting means keeping fast- Yoga and fasting have been given special importance in Ayurveda. During fasting, we not only remain hungry but this method naturally detoxifies the body. Ayurveda says that when you fast, the body starts cleaning and balancing itself. By doing this the element of fire in the body becomes stronger and due to this less toxins get accumulated.
