The students alleged that they were admitted in the history department of BHU. The head is sending him to the affiliated college. Whereas research students do not get any facilities there. These 13 students include students from MP, UP, Uttarakhand and other states.

Why do BHU students say rules are being violated?

The researchers allege that at the time of admission to PhD, the fees were deposited in the main campus itself and all the necessary documents were also taken in the central office. Despite this, now the process of transferring them to the respective colleges is being adopted. Students say that this is not only a betrayal to them, but the reservation rules are also being violated, which is against the right to social justice and equality.

Students are facing troubles since last 10 months

The students sitting on strike said that for the last ten months they have been continuously being made to visit the department, DRC (Departmental Research Committee) and administrative offices. Due to this they are mentally disturbed and feel themselves victims of exploitation. The students allege that with the connivance of the Head of the Department and the DRC, an attempt is being made to deliberately send them out of the main campus.

Why were students sent out of BHU?

The students raised the question that when they took admission in the main campus itself and deposited the fees and documents, then why are they now being sent to outside colleges. He says that in the colleges where there is talk of transfer, proper educational environment, library facilities and research resources are not sufficient. Besides, the scholarship system available there is also not satisfactory, which may affect their educational future.

The protesting students expressed their pain

The protesting students expressed their displeasure at the university administration and said that they had written letters to the concerned authorities several times regarding their demands and also tried to express their views in person, but till now no concrete action has been taken on their problems.
