This is why PM Modi’s visit is special for India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ghana tour is the first Ghana visit of an Indian Prime Minister in the last 30 years. This journey is special because Ghana is a major commercial partner of India. Through this visit, India will strengthen relations with this partner. Through this, India will help in increasing its presence in Africa markets. Apart from this, India’s energy security and access to mineral resources will be strong on the basis of close relations with Ghana.
If educational and cultural cooperation with a country like Ghana will be strong, then India’s global image will improve and this will increase the soft power of the country. About 16 thousand people in Ghana are of Indian origin.
