Naseeruddin Shah Jashn e Urdu Controversy: Naseeruddin Shah got angry with the reporter’s questions at Hyderabad airport. When asked about his removal from the Jashn-e-Urdu program, he refused to talk and expressed his anger at the media while removing the mic.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently came into limelight for an opinion article in which he claimed that he was removed from Mumbai University’s Jashn-e-Urdu program at the last moment. He also pointed towards the political reasons behind this decision. When he was asked a question on this issue, he got very angry. The incident took place when recently 75 year old Naseeruddin Shah was seen at Hyderabad Airport with his wife Ratna Pathak.

According to a Times Now report, a journalist present at the Hyderabad airport tried to ask questions to Naseeruddin Shah regarding his controversial article. At first the ‘Sarfarosh’ star politely refused to answer. But the journalist followed him to his car, which infuriated him. Naseeruddin Shah angrily removed the reporter’s mic and said, “I told you I don’t want to talk about this.”

The reporter asked, “Why are you removing the mic?” In response, Naseer said angrily, “Because you are putting this in my mouth.” The reporter then asked, “Why are you getting angry, sir?” To this Naseeruddin Shah said, “Because you are troubling me. Remove it from my face.” Meanwhile, a woman present at the airport told the journalist, “When he doesn’t want to answer, why don’t you accept ‘no’ as an answer.”

Naseer further asked the reporter angrily, “Can’t you see that I have just returned from a trip and I politely told you that I don’t want to talk about this. Why are you troubling me?” When the reporter said that he was not harassing him, Naseeruddin Shah said, “You are harassing me. Do you even understand what I am saying?” Seeing the situation worsening, Nasruddin Shah’s wife Ratna Pathak asked him to remain calm and then both of them sat in the car and left from there.
