The actress has been working in the entertainment industry since childhood. However, her views did not sit well with the social media users, who trolled her for her remarks.

Actress Hansika Motwani, in an interview with Hauterfly, shared that she has never experienced a casting couch. She said, “Mujhe pata hai kya lagta hai jisko kaam karna hai na asli kaam, unke sath yeh sab hota nahi hoga. Kyunki mere sath touchwood yeh sab nahi hua (I feel that if someone truly wants to work and focus on real work, these things probably don’t happen to them). Honestly, I can’t give a comment on this because I don’t know.”
