However, neither has commented on the matter. Palak Tiwari’s father, actor Raja Chaudhary, has now weighed in on the situation. He also spoke about his ex-wife, Shweta Tiwari. Here is what he had to say:
**She doesn’t need me in her life**
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Raja was asked if he was proud of his daughter for working with Salman Khan and making a name for herself. He replied, “I don’t know [if I am proud or not]. I have no idea where she is, what she is eating, what she is doing, where she is living, who she is living with, or who she is working with. I don’t even want to know, unless she comes and tells me herself, ‘Dad, this is happening.’ If the need arises, I am available for her 24/7. She doesn’t need me in her life at all.”
**What did Raja say about the dating rumors?**
Raja was then asked how he felt about the rumors regarding Palak and Ibrahim dating. The actor responded, “What difference does it make whether they are together or not? It makes no difference to me. She isn’t living alone in a jungle for this to be a big deal. For a father, what matters is whether the daughter has maintained the relationship [with him]. Ask her mother how she feels. Why should it matter to me? I am just the biological father; that is what I was told. I have nothing to do with it. How do you expect me to feel?”
**Shweta and Raja’s relationship**
It is worth noting that Raja and Shweta got married in 1998, and their daughter Palak was born in 2000. Shweta filed for divorce in 2007, alleging that she had faced domestic violence due to Raja’s alcoholism. In a recent interview, Raja denied these allegations. He got divorced in 2012.
