Kidney stones: There can be many reasons for kidney stones. Be it diet or increased weight or some medicines, these things can cause kidney stones. Food directly affects the body, that is why kidney patients are also asked to avoid consuming certain things.
General Physician Dr. Shalini Singh Salunke has shared a post on her social handle and has told which are those foods which repeatedly cause stones. Doctors are forbidding people who frequently suffer from stones to eat these foods. You also know what these things are.

There are some food items which contain large amounts of oxalate and calcium which increases water loss in the body and forms kidney stones. The doctor told that if kidney stones are formed repeatedly then avoid eating these foods –
spinach The doctor said that oxalate is found in abundance in leafy vegetables like spinach, which causes formation of kidney stones.
high protein food If too much protein food is eaten, it increases the amount of uric acid in the body. Due to this, uric acid stones start forming in the kidneys.
Beetroot – Kidney patients are not advised to eat beetroot. The high oxalate level of beetroot combines with calcium to form kidney stones.
ladyfinger – Doctor says that if there is lack of water in your body then okra will start forming kidney stones.
dry fruits If dry fruits and seeds are dry, they contain high amounts of oxalate. If you have had kidney stones before then avoid these things.
drink plenty of water
Doctor’s advice is that drinking plenty of water prevents the problem of kidney stones. By drinking water, dirty toxins are released from the body.
What symptoms are seen in case of stones?
- Due to stones, there is pain in the kidneys, pain in the stomach and pain can be felt near the genitals.
- The pain comes suddenly and is very severe.
- Pain and burning sensation is felt while urinating.
- Blood may be seen in urine. Urine appears red, pink or brown.
- Foam is visible in the urine.
- Stomach upset occurs and vomiting occurs.
