While sharing the post, he wrote in the caption- I am often asked in my cleaning, whether turmeric is beneficial for liver or harmful.

He further writes that turmeric is being used from the centuries, behind which there are many reasons. Consuming half to 1 teaspoon turmeric in vegetables, tea or milk is usually considered safe. It does not even have a luxan effect. But it is harmful for liver when high-dose supplements of turmeric are taken.

Dr. Seth explains that, some studies have revealed that curcumin may reduce inflammation in the disease of fatty liver. But many such cases have also been seen, in which more dose or special types of supplements have proved to be harmful for liver. That is, some overall, the use of turmeric in food is beneficial and safe. But turmeric is not considered safe in high dose or supplement.
