BTS Jin birthday: BTS member Kim Seokjin, fondly called Jin and known worldwide as “Worldwide Handsome,” celebrated his 33rd birthday on December 4 with a warm and emotional message to ARMY. The singer took to Weverse to share his gratitude, marking his first birthday message since completing his military service and returning to full group activities.

In his birthday note, Jin reflected on a year filled with major milestones and expressed how meaningful it felt to celebrate openly with fans again.

He wrote, “Hello, I’m Jin. It’s my birthday. Whoo-hoo. I couldn’t say thank you on my birthday last year, but I’m so happy to be able to do it this year. A lot of good things happened this year. I released a solo album, had a concert, and all the members came back from the military without a big accident. What a grateful year it’s been.”

Jin added that the love from ARMY keeps him grounded and joyful. “I always say this, but thanks to ARMY, I want to say thank you for working and living a happy life. ARMY, thank you always and I love you,” he wrote, confirming he’d go live later in the day to celebrate with fans.

The official BTS Instagram account reshared birthday tributes, while fellow member J-Hope posted adorable photos of the two together. Both Jin and J-Hope were the first BTS members to complete their military duties, returning in 2024.

Fans across the world flooded social media with heartfelt wishes. One ARMY wrote, “Happy birthday to the mother figure of BTS.” Another commented, “Being thankful for the members’ safety speaks a lot about his character.” More messages continued pouring in: “It’s so good to have you back,” “You deserve all the love and good things in this world,” and “Finally, they’re all together to celebrate like the good old days.”

Jin was officially discharged on June 12, 2024, becoming the first BTS member to complete military service. Following his return, he released Echo, his second EP, and embarked on his first solo world tour, RunSeokjin Ep. Tour, which emerged as a massive international success.
