West Bengal Train Tragedy: A painful train accident occurred on Saturday night at Shyamnagar railway station in North 24 Parganas district. In the incident, a woman, her child and a fruit vendor who went to help at the station fell into the grip of the train and died.
How did the accident happen?
According to media reports, the woman was crossing the railway line with her child, when a frightening incident occurred which surprised the people present there. When the child suddenly fell from his lap, the woman leaned to lift her, meanwhile the Gaur Express train was coming on the number three track. Seeing the speed of the train, a fruit vendor also ran for help, but by then the three were hit by the train and fell down from the track.

Death before being taken to hospital
Local people alleged that an attempt was made to take him to the hospital after the accident, but the ambulance could not reach the spot due to non -opening of the level crossing gate. He was taken at some distance and sent to the hospital, but by then he had died. In protest against the incident, the local people blocked the road for some time and sought answers from the railway administration. Police and railway officials visited the spot and started investigation.
