Welcome To The Jungle is the third part of the Welcome franchise. At the box office, it has received a mixed response. Mounted on a budget exceeding Rs 100 crore, the worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 129.20 crore after six days, whereas in India, it has crossed the Rs 80 crore (net) mark.
Ahead of its competition with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha and Huma Qureshi’s Baby Do Die Do, Welcome To The Jungle had a smooth ride. The film is directed by Ahmed Khan and stars 34 actors in key roles.

Ahmed Khan reveals Welcome To The Jungle budget
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Ahmed clarified that the budget of hasn’t touched Rs 200 crore. “I haven’t crossed more than Rs 115 crore to Rs 120 crore, or maybe Rs 125 crore. You count the interest money also. I haven’t crossed the budget,” said the filmmaker, adding that investing around Rs 200 to Rs 250 crore would be wasting resources. He shared that the investment has been recovered from digital, satellite, music and overseas rights. “Now, whatever the film is making, it’s the surplus. They’re completely benefitting from it,” he told us.

The story of Welcome To The Jungle follows a group of amateur actors who are promised a multi-crore film, which, in reality, is predicted to fail at the box office. A fake film, mounted on a budget of Rs 2000 crore, is being made in a real jungle with residents of a doomed village named Azadgarh. When the actors realise that the terrorists in the film are real, the plan to make the film changes.
