Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan is the major release on Friday and small films like Baa Baa Black Sheep, Good Time, Mayookha released in limited screens. Hindi sensational blockbuster film Hanuman Ansh was dubbed into Telugu and it was released by Hombale Films on Friday. All the small films ended up as disasters. Comrade Kalyan received mixed response but the film managed to be decent in urban regions and multiplexes. The numbers are quite low in B and C centres.
The film also did not witness huge growth on Saturday and Sunday. Among the new releases, Comrade Kalyan was decent. Hanuman Ansh is a shock for many. The film did not open well and the film also struggled to make decent in its first weekend. Being a huge hit in Hindi, the film failed to register decent footfalls. The numbers on Saturday and Sunday were completely disappointing. Last week’s decent film Thella Kaagitham also did not witness any growth as there are a number of new releases. Nani’s The Paradise completed its run in AP region and the film had decent shows in Telangana region. But the film did not witness any growth over the weekend. Except Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan, all the films failed to register decent footfalls.
