A filmy style horrifying incident took place at Kollegal in Chamarajanagar district, where bloodshed broke out amidst the wedding celebrations.
The bride’s lover stabbed the would-be groom, leading to the marriage breaking off midway.
This attack happened when the groom Ravish was getting ready for the wedding. The knife was used with the intention of killing. Injured Ravish is undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Kollegal.
It is suspected that bride Nayana’s lover is behind this attack. Even after the marriage broke up, Nayana went to Ravish who was admitted in the hospital and requested him to marry her.
But Ravish, who survived the deadly attack, has clearly refused to marry bride Nayana.
Ravish said, ‘An attempt was made to take my life at the time of my marriage. If I marry her, who will be responsible if my life is in danger in the future? I cannot live in such fear.
