‘We survived the toughest conditions of the season,’ says Nicolas Goyon

Le Mans brought one of the most chaotic races of the year, but Nicolas Goyon was satisfied with how Tech3 weathered the storm.

‘It was a hectic race.

We checked the weather in the morning and got ready for the worst – and the worst happened,’ he said. Viñales delivered a strong result despite penalties and bike swaps: ‘He ended up 5th. That’s impressive.’

Enea Bastianini faced a tougher outing. ‘He got blocked in the first few corners, crashed twice, then swapped bikes when the heavy rain came. He still collected three points.’

Goyon praised the team’s adaptability: ‘With both riders in the points, it was a weekend of resilience. Now we turn the page and focus on Silverstone.’
