Players faced many problems

The team had to face many problems during the tour. Had to wait for 13-14 hours at Sydney Airport before the flight to Canberra. On reaching the hotel, it was found that the booking had not been done because the Pakistan Hockey Federation had made the advance payment. Players and staff kept wandering on the streets for hours. Later, with the help of local Pakistani people, hotel arrangements were made. The captain further revealed that only 10 days were booked through Airbnb, but the team was to stay for 13 days. After 10 days he had to shift to a cheap hotel with less facilities. On the other hand, Pakistan Sports Board confirmed that they had given more than 1 crore Pakistani rupees to PHF for hotel arrangements, but the federation did not utilize it properly.

Pakistan lost all the matches

On this tour, Pakistan played matches against Australia and Germany, but lost all of them. In the first match, Australia lost 2-3. On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is the chief patron of PHF, has ordered an investigation into the matter. PSB Director General Noor Us Sabah said that a complete report is being prepared.
