New Delhi: As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marks a century of its ideological and organisational journey, General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale on Tuesday said the 101st year of the Sangh holds “special significance” not just for the organisation but for the whole country.
Speaking at a grand centenary celebration event in New Delhi, on the eve of Vijaya Dashami, a day symbolically tied to the founding of the RSS, Hosabale highlighted the Sangh’s evolving role in national life.
“Tomorrow’s Vijaya Dashami holds a special place in our journey, as the RSS steps into its 101st year,” he said, highlighting the milestone as more than just a number, rather, a call to action.
In a pointed remark, he added, “We have to do whatever is beneficial for the country, and for that, we don’t need certification.”
