The former South African star batsman played an unbeaten inning of 76 runs in just 44 balls and led the team to victory in just 15 overs. Liezel scored her third half-century this season and during her innings she hit 10 fours as well as 4 sixes. Nate Siver-Brunt also played an important role in helping the team win by playing an inning of 35 runs. Hobart Hurricanes achieved the target by losing only 2 wickets.

RCB also won the Women’s Premier League (WPL) title for the first time in 2024, while in the same year the franchise captured the IPL trophy for the first time.
