As soon as the monsoon arrives, cold and moisture increases in the weather. While this weather gives relief, it also brings many challenges in terms of skin care. Especially for women, waxing in this season is not less than a mess. Sometimes the skin gets rashes, sometimes the wax does not stick properly, so that the hair does not come out completely. The skin becomes even more sensitive due to viscosity on the skin, fungal infection and sweat.
In such a situation, if the waxing is not done properly, then the skin can also be damaged. At the same time, it becomes difficult to go to the parlor again and again. Therefore, it is important that some special things should be taken care of while waxing in the monsoon, so that the skin also remains safe and hair removal is also done in a smooth manner. So let’s know some easy and effective tips, which you can get waxing without any problem even in this monsoon.
1. Clean the skin well before waxing
In the monsoon, dirt accumulates due to bacteria and sweat on the skin. Before waxing, clean the skin thoroughly with a mild cleanser or antiseptic wipe. This will reduce the risk of infection and the wax will stick better.
2. Use powder
If there is too much sweat on the skin, then the wax does not work properly. In such a situation, apply light talcum powder before waxing. It absorbs moisture and makes the waxing process easier.
3. Use cool wax instead of hot wax
The skin is already irritated in the monsoon, so hot wax can cause irritation or redness. Therefore, use cold wax or sugar wax. It remains soft on the skin and causes less damage. Also, hair is completely removed from it.
4. Don’t forget to exfoliate the skin
Exfoliate the skin with light hands a day before waxing. This removes the dead skin and reduces the risk of inguinal hair. You can use natural scrub such as oatmeal or coffee scrub.
5. Apply moisturizer immediately after waxing
The skin becomes dry and sensitive after waxing. Therefore, to keep the skin soft and protect it from redness, apply an aloe vera based or camomile moisturizer. This will also reduce irritation and will give relief to the skin.
