WATCH: Videos capture intense missile strikes in Israel’s Dimona, fireballs light up sky

New Delhi: Iran launched a missile strike on Israel’s main nuclear research centre, Dimona, on Saturday, March 21. The attack left at least 37 people sustained injuries, Iranian rescuers said, including Magen David Adom (MDA) and the country’s national emergency medical service (EMS).

The Iranian television framed the strike as a ‘response’ to what Israel did at Iran’s Natanz nuclear enrichment complex earlier in the day. With the conflict moving into the fourth week, a new phase of tit-for-tat has been seen between Iran and Israel.

The MDA has been treating over 40 people after the ballistic missile hit the region. A 10-year-old boy also got injured and sustained shrapnel injuries, but now he is in moderate condition.

People who were injured while rushing to shelters and those with anxiety exacerbated by the strike also received urgent care, the MDA said

Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu called the attack a ‘difficult evening for Israel’ and promised to continue the attack on Iran. The Iranian media claimed that since February 28, more than 1,500 people have been killed, including more than 200 children.

This is a developing story..
