Farhan welcomed Ruyel Miah with a six on the first ball of the fourth over. He mocked the uncapped Bangladesh pacer on the second ball with a John Cena gesture after playing a dot ball. Ruyel embarrassed Farhan on the very next ball and dismissed him. Farhan edged the third ball and was caught by Salman Irshad. The opening batsman departed for 13 off 12 balls.
Experienced batter Mushfiqur Rahim slammed back-to-back fours to finish the over. Ruyel went for 15 runs in his first over. He only bowled two overs and conceded 20 runs for one wicket.
Rahim scored 40 runs off 30 balls while Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 34 off 21 balls as Warriors put on a total of 147/8 on the board. Sylhet Titans couldn’t complete the chase and fell short by five runs.
Rion Mondol scalped four wickets for Warriors. He was bestowed with the Player of the Match award for his bowling heroics. With 7 wins from 9 matches, the mWarriors sit in the top position in the points table. Titans have 5 wins and are third in the table.
Sahibzada Farhan’s performance in BPL
Farhan has struggled in BPL 2026 and managed to score 101 runs in five matches. He departed for 20 in his first game of the season and followed up with a duck. He only managed to score two runs in his next outing. He scored 65 off 46 balls in his fourth game against Rangpur Riders.
Farhan had to take a break from BPL to join the national team for the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Farhan made his return against Titans and was embarrassed by an uncapped bowler. Since Pakistan will make their on-field return against Australia on January 29, Farhan is likley to be available for all the remaining matches for Rajshahi in the BPL.
