In the 6th match of Pondicherry Premier League 2025 between Ruby White Town Legends vs Genid Yanam Royals at the Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground, a fiery incident set the game ablaze.

On the last ball of the 15th over, Ankit Kushwah of Ruby White Town Legends sent down a threatening beamer that hit Parameeswaran Sivaraman right on the elbow of his bottom hand. The blow was heavy and prompted physios to run in to attend to the batter.

Parameeswaran was batting on 38 off 34 balls at that moment. Barring the agony, he stunned everyone by hitting a six over deep extra cover on the very next ball with immense strength and purpose. This was the response of Parameeswaran after suffering a blow on the previous delivery, making the moment even more dramatic.
