Kuldeep Yadav Cleans Up Shai Hope With a Peach on Day 3
On the third ball of the 50th over in the West Indies’ first innings, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Shai Hope. Kuldeep bowled a delivery outside off that drifted away before straightening. Hope, expecting it to turn in, pushed forward defensively but played down the wrong line.
Hope missed the ball completely as it crashed into his off stump. The right-handed batter had to depart for the dressing room after scoring 36 off 57 balls, including five boundaries. Notably, it was his 31st consecutive Test innings without a fifty.
Kuldeep jumped and punched the air in delight after taking the wicket. The delivery earned praise from the cricketing community.
