The fans had doubts about whether Sooryavanshi would be able to take on Bumrah like he does with other bowlers. Sooryavanshi continued to bat with his fearless approach and he smashed MI’s lead pacer for a six on the very first ball of his spell. The look on Bumrah’s face told the complete story as he seemed to be impressed with Sooryavanshi’s batting.
After hitting Bumrah for a six, Sooryavanshi moved to the other end with a single. Yashasvi Jaiswal brought Sooryavanshi back to the crease on the third ball. Sooryavanshi, 15, hit Bumrah for another six on the fourth ball. Bumrah went for 14 runs in the first over.
