Soon after the video circulated, social-media users began commenting on the exchange, some critically, others supportive. A section of users mocked Sara’s attempt at charity, with one person writing, “10-rupey ka biscuit bhikari bhi nahi leta aajkal.” Another commented, “She walked off with the biscuits… could’ve handed it to someone else.” Criticism also extended to perceptions of performative kindness, with remarks like, “Sab camera ke liye drama hota hai.”
Others, however, came to Sara’s defence, reminding trolls that her intention mattered more than the outcome. A user wrote, “Nothing awkward… at least she tried to help.” Another added, “Digital bhikhari hoga, maybe he only wanted cash.”
