War 2 Ticket Price: The highly anticipated movie War 2, which stars Jr. NTR, Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani is set to hit theaters on August 14, 2025. However, amid much anticipation there has been no encouraging indicators from early ticket sales. The global advance booking total for Coolie is over Rs 45 crore, whereas War 2 is far behind at roughly Rs 5 crore. For a movie billed as the biggest Hindi blockbuster of the year with an all-star cast, this is a rather wide gap. Amidst this, Yash Raj Films plans to keep War 2 ticket prices at the same premium level as Pushpa 2.
War 2 ticket prices are reported to be at par with Pushpa 2: The Rule. With the high rise of Allu Arjun’s movie, theaters raised their prices; some tickets cost as much as Rs 2,400. As per Bollywood Hungama, “YRF is confident that there is going to be a heavy demand for the film due to its casting and…popularity of YRF Spy Universe.”
War 2 is intended to be positioned as a huge event release with the help of an extended holiday window and Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan’s star power. However, it only makes sense for viewers to pay more if the movie truly excites them, not just because the company calls it a major movie. This idea is not new to YRF, which had considerable success with Pathaan using the same premium pricing method.

War 2’s high-octane action, captivating narrative, and breathtaking spectacle will make ticket prices insignificant. It reminds production companies that viewer trust is based on the film’s quality, not just marketing confidence, until that time comes. The film’s own merits will ultimately decide if War 2 succeeds at the box office or fails to live up to the hype.
War 2 Movie Budget
War 2 is a follow-up to the 2019 smash movie War and is set in the well-known Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe. With an incredible budget of Rs 400 crore, it surpasses previous well-known blockbusters like Tiger 3 and Pathaan to become one of the most costly Indian films ever produced.
With a limited release in important South Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Pondicherry, the Hindi version of War 2 will be shown on more than 5,000 screens throughout India. After the release of the teaser and trailer, the movie has already created a lot of buzz.
