Story:
Years after going rogue, former intelligence agent Kabir Dhaliwal has become the nation’s most wanted man. To stop him, the government deploys its best: Special Units Officer Vikram. A master tactician with a complex past, Vikram is the only operative with the resolve and skill to neutralize his dangerous and elusive target.
The Hindi movie has managed to create a good buzz from its promos and the trailer. The songs by Pritam have also struck a chord with the viewers. War is clashing with Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
Will War 2 win the hearts of the audience and survive the Coolie storm? Find out what the netizens say about the film:
Movies4u Official: #WAR2Review:
#HrithikRoshan and #JrNTR shine not just in mass intros but also with terrific chemistry in their scenes together. NTR’s characterisation stands out with multiple layers, delivered with his trademark dialogue delivery, expressions, and ease. Kiara looks stunning. The interval and a few other moments work.
However, the action scenes are underwhelming due to too much cinematic liberty. The spy angle is barely explored, there are no major thrills, and no words about the VFX.
The post-credits scene teases the next chapter in the YRF Spy Universe.
Overall: An average action entertainer that delivers hype in parts but misses the X-factor.
Fukkard: #War2 Review : A bearable watch only for the actors if you are a fan, if not unbearable.
Hrithik’s magnetism, NTR’s raw energy, their stylish looks are the two things to look out for.
But the weak substance makes it the most uninteresting spy film, VFX in key shots, inconsistent emotional heft, problematic male-female dynamics, and potentially thin appeal to South audiences.
Might be a visual treat for fans of glossy action but in terms of depth and resonance down South this might not work.
Venky Reviews: #War2 is a strictly mediocre action thriller, leaning heavily on style over substance!
The storyline is somewhat different from the previous spy universe films, which had potential but wasn’t able to fully capitalize on it. Though the storyline might vary, the tempo of the other films remains the same, which makes it feel pretty ordinary and routine.
The film did have a solid setup, which worked in its favor. A few good blocks like the introduction sequences, the dance number, and a few twists worked well. However, the emotion and potential highs in the core story weren’t executed properly.
Both lead actors performed their roles well and were apt for their characters, but nothing they haven’t done before. Their performances in the climax stand out.
The production values are good, but there are some VFX shots that look shoddy, especially during a boat chase sequence. The BGM had scope to be a lot better. It is better than the previous spy universe film, but is still just okay!
Rating: 2.5/5
#War2 Passable 1st Half!
Introduction sequences of both leads have come out well. The film has a good start and then enters into a regular template spy film mode which doesn’t make much impact until the interval point. The dance number stands out. Needs to build off this half.
PaniPuri: #War2:
#NTR makes a thunderous mass entry, igniting the screen with a spectacular action sequence , a true visual extravaganza and an absolute feast for fans.

M9 NEWS: #War2 Hardly passable first half!
Right from the start everything follows the same old template and familiar story. Even the over-the-top action blocks lack genuine highs. #SalamAnali is a breather, if not a banger. Second half will have to deliver big to make up for it, and the real high moment is yet to arrive.
Panjaa: Honest #War2Review :
#JrNTR dominates #HrithikRoshan everytime he’s on-screen with destructive impact
#KiaraAdvani is the X – factor !! Too sensual & magnetic to handle
Story picks up mid-first half, Interval BANG and Pre-Climax twists were pure cinema
#War2
Yo, #War2Review: Kiara Advani struts out in that bikini-BOOM! Curves slicin’ like a freakin’ machete, hotter than a damn volcano! Camera’s droolin’ so hard you’re not watchin’, you’re straight-up worshippin’! #War2 #JrNTR #Kia
Daya NTR: NTR Intro
Hrithik Intro
Song
Interval Bang
Blockbuster First Half
Raj : Hrithik looks dapper, NTR looks okay . First half feels like same old Bollywood spy drama, not a single high scene expect intro scene but interval looks good. Flat narration through out 1st half. VFX is okayish.

Karthik: First half is Dead ☠️ …Unbearable vfx and color grading…Dance number and saithaan is good…Leki pre interval fights senseless asal..I don’t know where directors spending such huge budget if u cant make good vfx just don’t do it wtf is this for 30$ ticke..Same with hhvm #war2
BagaraRice: #War2’s first half is disaster, packed with troll-worthy scenes from start to enf. NTR’s head looks awkwardly stuck onto the body, something even kindergarten kids could spot. And in an attempt to match Hrithik, they ended up creating this unintentionally mocking “Vikram” character
Megaholicc: #War2
First half done finally felt like its already been 2 hours
dance off comes right after jr ntr and Hrithik tries to kill each other odd song placement but song is lit
Same as Naatu Naatu here Hrithik shines like RC, here too Hrithik dominates ntr sheer screen presence
Poodle ⚓️: First half feels recycled – from scene one, it’s dejÀ vu all over again. Action falls flat. Hrithik’s #SalamAnali offers a brief breather, but the real high is still pending. Tarak? Completely lost, delivering what feels like a squib in the making. #War2
ReviewBabai: A mind boggling 1st half in the recent times. The best action sequences in the indian cinema till date!!!
Salaam Anali, NTR intro, Interval episode are alone enough for the ticket. A SURE SHOT BLOCK BUSTER TILL NOW
