The highly-awaited film War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, faces a sharp drop in its box office performance. After a solid opening, the film’s earnings have slipped, showing a significant decline on its twelfth day.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the YRF action-thriller raked in just about Rs 2.25 crore net across all languages on Monday of week 2.

War 2 kick-started its run with an extended weekend collection of Rs 175.75 crore net, becoming one of the strongest openers of 2025. However, in the second week, the film lost its momentum. By the end of its second weekend, the film registered only Rs 17.75 crore. With this, War 2’s total Indian collection now stands at Rs 224.25 crore.

War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Kabir, alongside NT Rama Rao Jr. and Kiara Advani. It also features Ashutosh Rana, Anil Kapoor, Varun Badola, Arista Mehta, Vijay Vikram Singh, K.C. Shankar, Reshma Bombaywala, Abhishek Bhalerao, Madhuri Bhatia, Anupam Bhattacharya, Zachary Coffin, Manthan Darji, Bobby Deol, Hardip Dhupia and Benedict Garrett in supporting characters.
Bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, War 2 is a part of the YRF Spy Universe. Following its theatrical run, the film is scheduled to stream on Netflix. However, the makers haven’t confirmed anything yet on the OTT release date.
