‘Wapas ja’: Kuldeep, Rohit exchange funny banter over DRS call in IND vs SA 3rd ODI – WATCH

New Delhi: Former India captain Rohit Sharma was at his funny best when he scolded Kuldeep Yadav over his constant DRS appeals during the third ODI against South Africa at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, a video of which has gone viral on social media.

The moment happened when Kuldeep thought he had trapped Lungi Ngidi LBW and started requesting a DRS review, with folded hands and a hopeful expression, the spinner tried his hardest to convince captain KL Rahul.

Rohit, who is known for his calm behaviour, remained unfazed by Kuldeep’s DRS appeals. He assessed the situation with a smile and gestured to Kuldeep to go back, a decision that stand-in captain KL Rahul followed.

At the mid-innings break, Kuldeep talked about the banter with Rohit Sharma and said that he is very bad with reviews, and Rohit keeps pulling his leg. “When you have a former captain … KL has been really good behind the wicket and especially in DRS calls, as a bowler you feel like every not out is out, so you have to have those people around you to guide you to just calm you down,” Kuldeep said.
