It is not enough to submit just after filing ITR. You also have to e-verify it. Unless there is e-verification, your return processing will not start. 2. More load on the system

This year the number of those filing returns has increased. Due to excess filing, the load on the server of the Income Tax Department increases, which makes the processing slow and can delay the refund. That is, even if your case is absolutely simple, your money can come late due to the system load.

3. Mistake in Bank Account or PAN

ITR refund is directly transferred to your bank account. In such a situation, if you enter the wrong account number, IFSC code or do not link the bank account to PAN, then the refund may be stuck. Many times the name also fails due to the name Missamach. Therefore, it is very important to check bank details and PAN linking well before filling ITR.

4. Departmental Scrutiny

If the Income Tax Department feels that there is a disturbance in your income details and tax calculations, then they can put your returns in scrutiny mode. In such a case your documents and claims are re -examined. The refund remains stuck until this investigation is complete. So try to get all the details perfect and clear while filling ITR.
