The average cost of homemade vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food has decreased in July due to the price of vegetables being slightly low. This information has been given in a report released on Thursday. According to the Report report of Crisil Intelligence, the price of vegetarian plate declined by 14 percent to Rs 28.1 on an annual basis, earlier Rs 32.6. Its director, Pushish Sharma said that in the near future, the price of the plate is expected to be low on the annual basis due to the high base of tomato prices. The estimated high production of pulses is also likely to soften the prices. However, Sharma said that the decline may be limited as potatoes and onion prices are expected to remain stable even further. The report states that the prices of vegetarian plate have come due to a steep fall in tomato, onion and potato prices.
The price of lentils also fell
