Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently accused the Election Commission of rigging the Election Commission and said that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Shakun Rani voted twice. The Election Commission has sought evidence related to this from Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul gandhi voter fraud charge: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of rigging the election. It is said that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, a voter cast two votes twice. Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has asked Rahul Gandhi to give documents in this matter.

In a letter to Rahul Gandhi, CEO cited his recent press conference. The Congress leader had claimed that some documents in his presentation were “Election Commission figures”. Voter Shakun Rani voted twice on the basis of “records given by the polling officer”.

The Election Commission found that during interrogation, Shakun Rani said that he had voted only once. Initial investigation also found that the document with the right mark shown by Rahul Gandhi was not issued by the polling officer. This was contrary to his claim.

In a letter to Rahul Gandhi, the Election Commission said, “You are requested to provide relevant documents on the basis of which you have concluded that Shakun Rani or someone else cast two votes so that a detailed investigation can be done.”

Rahul Gandhi recently accused the Election Commission of collusion with the BJP to steal the elections. He alleged that fake names are being added to voter lists and presented the voter list of Mahadevpura assembly constituency of Bangalore Central as evidence.

Rahul Gandhi alleged that out of 6.5 lakh votes in Mahadevpura constituency, more than one lakh were fake. Research conducted by the Congress found 11,965 duplicate voters. 40,009 with fake or invalid addresses. 10452 voters used the same address. 4132 illegal photos were found. 33,692 voters misused Form 6 issued for new registration.
