Volvo Car India has launched the electric SUV, the Volvo EX30, at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 41,00,000. Adding festive cheer, the company has introduced a special pre-reserve offer at Rs 39,99,000 for customers booking before October 19, 2025. Deliveries for the model will begin in the first week of November.

Globally celebrated for its design and sustainability, the EX30 has won the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best Product Design Award 2024 and the World Urban Car of the Year 2024. Volvo positions it as the brand’s most sustainable vehicle to date, with interiors crafted from recycled materials such as denim, PET bottles, aluminium, and PVC. The SUV has also secured a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP safety tests.
In terms of safety features, the EX30 is equipped with Volvo’s Safe Space Technology, comprising five cameras, five radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. It also offers intersection auto-brake, door-opening alerts to prevent accidents, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping aid, and blind-spot monitoring among other advanced systems.
The EX30 is powered by a single motor, extended range variant delivers 272bhp and 343Nm of torque. Powered by a 69kWh lithium-ion battery, it boasts a WLTP-certified range of 480 km on a single charge. The EV accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 180kmph.
Inside, the cabin features a fixed panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and Harman Kardon’s premium 1040W soundbar with nine speakers. A 12.3-inch high-resolution central display comes with Google Built-in, 5G connectivity, over-the-air updates, and Apple CarPlay. Five ambient lighting themes inspired by Scandinavian seasons add to the SUV’s premium appeal. Convenience features such as digital key functionality via NFC and smartphone app integration further enhance the user experience.

The Volvo EX30 will be available in five colour options across 25 Volvo dealerships in India. Deliveries are set to commence in November 2025.
