Vivo is reportedly working on expanding its Ultra lineup in India with the upcoming Vivo X500 Ultra. It would be a successor to the latest Vivo X300 Ultra and is expected to offer better camera capabilities.
However, leaks and rumours point out that it may not be the only selling point of the device, as it may launch with notable upgrades in design, performance, and battery life. The company is said to co-engineer the camera modules with Zeiss, and the upcoming device will also sport a quad camera setup at the rear end. Here’s everything we have on the upcoming Vivo X500 Ultra for now.
Vivo X500: Specs (Expected)
Vivo X500 is expected to launch with a 6.89-inch LTPO AMOLED flat screen with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro coupled with an Adreno 750 GPU. The device is also rumoured to feature UFS 4.1 internal storage that goes up to 512GB along with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.
In terms of power, the handset may sport a 7,500 mAh non-removable silicon-carbon battery that might support 120W of wired charging and 50W of wireless charging. Out of the box, the smartphone is said to run on the upcoming OriginOS 6, which would be a skin based on Android 16.
Vivo X500: Camera details (leaked)

Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed that Vivo could introduce a periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom, marking a significant upgrade over the current Vivo X300 Ultra, which uses a periscope lens offering 3.7x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, the rumoured Vivo X500 Pro is said to include a 50MP main camera with a large sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. This configuration reportedly signals a move away from traditional OmniVision sensors toward Sony’s newer IMX06H sensor, which is expected to improve overall photo quality.
