Vivo is gearing up to expand its smartphone lineup in India. The company has already confirmed that it will unveil the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE in the first week of October.
Now, a tipster claims that Vivo may also launch its next-generation foldable flagship in the country. The Vivo X Fold 6 has already been launched in the company’s home market, and its global launch date was confirmed some time ago. This further strengthens the possibility of the device making its way to India alongside the two upcoming models. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming flagship foldable device from Vivo, the X Fold 6, could make its debut in the Indian market on October 6. Vivo has previously confirmed that the company will be launching the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE in India on October 6.

While the company has not yet officially announced anything, the leaks and rumours point to the X Fold 6 possibly costing between Rs 1,29,999 and Rs 1,59,999. Keep in mind that these are just early estimates, and the official pricing will only be revealed at the time of launch.

Vivo has recently launched the X Fold 6 in the home market and is anticipated to make its global launch with the same specs. The handset might get an 8.02-inch AMOLED main screen along with a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover panel. Both the displays may have a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood the foldable device is expected to draw its power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, which is built on 3 nm technology. Tipster Abhishek Yadav also claims that the device will get 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage options. Not only that, but according to him, the device will land in two colourways, notably the Prism Black and Nebula Teal.
The handset is also said to get a 7,000 mAh battery, which would be supported by 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. Out of the box the device is expected to ship with OriginOS 7, a skin based on Android 17. To keep the device protected against water and dust, it may also get IP58 and IP59 certifications.
In terms of optics, the device may sport a triple camera setup at the back, including a 200MP main OIS sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The smartphone is also expected to house a 20MP front camera at both outer and inner screens. These can be helpful while taking selfies and during video calls.
