Both devices are expected to feature a versatile triple rear camera setup.
Vivo V70 Series Pricing: What to Expect
While there is no official launch date, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed key details about the upcoming Vivo V70 series, including its possible price range. According to the tipster, the Vivo V70 series price in India will start from under Rs 55,000. We expect the Vivo V70 price in India to start from under Rs 45,000, while the more premium Vivo V70 Elite will be priced at under Rs 55,000.
However, these prices won’t be inclusive of launch/bank offers. To recall, the Vivo X200T’s price in India is also expected to start from under Rs 60,000, so it is unclear whether there will be some overlap between the X200T and V70 Elite. The Vivo V70 Elite is also expected to replace the ‘Pro’ model, which was last seen with the Vivo V40 line-up.
Vivo V70 Series Specifications
On the camera front, the Vivo V70 series is expected to focus heavily on portrait and low-light photography. Both models are likely to feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The highlight, however, is tipped to be a 50MP 3X ZEISS Night Telephoto camera.
With a large 1.3cm sensor-claimed to be the biggest in its segment-this telephoto lens is designed to deliver detailed portraits and improved clarity in challenging lighting conditions. Vivo is also expected to introduce its NICE 1.0 (Neural Image Computational Enhancement) algorithm, which aims to enhance distant details, minimise noise, and preserve natural textures.
In terms of performance, the Vivo V70 Elite is expected to mark a notable upgrade for the V series by featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This would make it the most powerful V-series smartphone to date, offering flagship-grade performance for gaming and multitasking. The standard Vivo V70, meanwhile, is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which should deliver a solid balance of efficiency and everyday performance.
Software is another area where Vivo is expected to make changes. The V70 series is likely to debut with OriginOS 6 out of the box, bringing features such as Origin Island, Office Kit integration, and interactive Flip Cards. Vivo is also expected to introduce India-specific AI features, including AI Holi Festive Portraits, AI Magic Weather, and the Flower Blessing feature, adding a localised touch to the overall experience.
