Vivian Dsena on staying away from the spotlight: ‘Just living life to the fullest’

Television actor Vivian Dsena has opened up about his recent absence from the spotlight, saying he has been spending quality time with his family while hinting that his silence has a reason.

Vivian took to Instagram and shared a series of pictures from a recent seaside getaway, along with a message for his fans.

“Many of you have been asking, ‘Where have you been?’ Just living life to the fullest — soaking up some much-needed family time and the little moments in between,” he wrote.

Addressing his recent quiet period, the actor added, “I know I’ve been quiet, but not for nothing… and trust me, it’ll be worth the wait.”

He also thanked his followers for their continued support, writing, “Thank you for always being here, always waiting, and always believing in me.”

Vivian made his television debut with Kasamh Se in 2008 and gained wider recognition with his portrayal of Abhay Raichand in the supernatural teen drama Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.

He subsequently starred as Rishabh Kundra in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and appeared in shows including Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Sirf Tum. He also made a cameo appearance as Sartaj Singh Randhawa in Udaariyaan.

The actor has also participated in several reality shows. He showcased his dancing skills on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and competed in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He was the runner-up of Bigg Boss 18 and later joined the third season of the cooking-comedy reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment in 2025.

The third season featured contestants including Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Aly Goni, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Eisha Singh, Elvish Yadav, Isha Malviya, Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash.
