Vivah Panchami 2025: Vivah Panchami is a very holy festival. The festival of Vivah Panchami is celebrated every year on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month. This year this festival will be celebrated on 25th November. It is believed that on this day the marriage of Lord Shri Ram and Janak Dulari Mata Sita took place. The festival of Vivah Panchami is celebrated to commemorate the marriage of both. On the day of Vivah Panchami, Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita should be worshiped as per the rituals.
According to beliefs, worshiping Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita on the day of Vivah Panchami brings auspiciousness, but marriage is not done on the day of Vivah Panchami. It is said that getting married on the day of Vivah Panchami does not make married life happy. Daughters have to suffer in their in-laws’ house. There comes a struggle like Mother Sita in her life. However, by doing some special work on this day, the house remains filled with wealth.

donate kanyadan
Kanyadaan is considered one of the biggest donations in the scriptures. On the day of Vivah Panchami, a poor person’s daughter should be given Kanyadaan. By doing this, virtuous deeds increase, due to which life remains happy.

Tree plantation should be done on the day of Vivah Panchami. By doing this Mother Nature becomes happy. A sapling in the name of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita should be planted at home or any other place. By doing this, the blessings of Shri Ram and Mother Sita remain.

Charity has been described as very important in religious scriptures. Donation must be done even on the day of Vivah Panchami. On this day, donations can be made by visiting any organization, needy person, temple etc. Due to this, the house remains stocked with food and money.
stock up
Filling the stomach of the hungry is considered the greatest virtue. Bhandara should be done on this day. If Bhandara cannot be organized on this day, then food should be arranged for a person, animal or bird.
Bhajan-Kirtan and take bath in Ganga
On the day of Vivah Panchami, one should do bhajan-kirtan, worship and take bath in Ganga. Vivah Panchami day is the best for these works. Lord Shri Hari Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi should be worshiped on this day.
