Sehore VIT University Violence: The violent protests by students in Sehore’s VIT University are not showing any signs of stopping. Now the Chief Minister of the state had to intervene in this. CM has instructed two ministers each to go to the campus.

The issue of rebellion by the students of VIT University located in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh, which has been going on for four days, has now reached the Chief Minister of the state. Taking cognizance of the incident of violent protest and arson, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has given strict orders to send the Minister in-charge of Sehore district and the Education Minister of the state to the VIT campus and review the matter.

To ensure that such incidents do not recur, Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar was instructed to conduct a high-level review of private universities and educational institutions to identify and immediately resolve problems related to student interests. District administration officials have also been directed to take cognizance of the problems related to food and water of students and resolve them immediately. The welfare of students and quality education system is our top priority.

Actually, this whole issue is happening due to poor quality food and dirty water provided to VIT University students. Students complain that spoiled food and water is being provided here for many days. Due to which many students got jaundice and some even died. Let us tell you that when he complained to the management regarding this issue on Tuesday, the guard and a warden beat him up. After this, in the night, about 4 thousand students protested fiercely and set fire to buses, ambulances, cars and buildings parked in the campus. After this, the matter worsened so much that by morning police and STF personnel from many police stations had to be deployed. But the matter is still not resolved, students’ protest and vandalism continues. Now the university has sent a mail to all the students instructing them to leave the campus.
