Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath insisted on innovation, smart services, green expansion and digital facility to the municipal bodies in the ‘developed UP@2047’ dialogue. The goal is to develop UP by 2047 and create a $ 6 trillion economy.
Lucknow, 29 September. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that every municipal body should include innovation in its action plan and modernize civil services as per the concept of Ease of Living. He said that urban development should not be limited only to basic facilities, but also keeping smart services, green expansion, better traffic and digital access.
The Chief Minister advised the municipal bodies to develop new means of income creation and the public representatives to include citizens in this process.
Discussion with Mayor and Municipal Bodies in developed UP@2047 dialogues
Yogi Adityanath held virtual dialogues with the presidents and members of 17 municipal corporations, 200 municipalities and 545 municipal panchayats under the ‘Developed UP@2047’ dialogue series. He said that the role of municipal bodies is important in making Uttar Pradesh a developed state by 2047. The Chief Minister called for a pledge to make every city a clean, modern, well -organized and self -sufficient.
Historical achievements in urban development in the last eight years
The Chief Minister said that in the last eight years, Uttar Pradesh has taken many important steps in the field of urban development, including:
- Creation and reorganization of more than 127 new municipal bodies
- Development of 17 Smart City
- Extension of e-governance services
- Modern transport schemes like metro, RRTS and ropeway
- New plans for solid waste management and sewerage
He said that Lucknow and Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation issued municipal bonds and every urban body increased the income by two and a half to three times.
New energy and identity in cities
The Chief Minister said that cities like Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Prayag, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Jhansi, Firozabad and Gorakhpur are becoming the identity of Uttar Pradesh with new energy and form. He said that in the coming years, urban population will increase manifold, so municipal bodies will have to change both their thinking and working style.
Integrated Control Command Center and Digital Initiative
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of multidimensional use of the Integrated Control Command Center. He said that it should be implemented more effectively for digital services, smart monitoring and civil facilities.
Developed UP@2047 Vision and Amritkal Panch Pran
The Chief Minister shared the vision of ‘developed UP@2047’ by reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Panch Pran’. He said that this campaign is based on three pillars of economics, creation power and vitality. The Chief Minister urged the public representatives to share letters and material related to the campaign in meetings and meetings and include the general public in this process.
Public participation and suggestion invitation
The Chief Minister said that at least one suggestion should be obtained from each family. Three best suggestions will be honored from every district and five at the state level. He said that so far 12 lakh citizens have shared suggestions, which will form the basis of future policies and plans. The Chief Minister described this process as not only a proud collection, but also a historical attempt involving the aspirations of the people to the policies of the state.
Economic target: Creating UP a 6 trillion economy from One Trillion
Yogi Adityanath shared the target of making UP an economy of one trillion dollars and $ 6 trillion by 2047 over the next five years. He said that this goal can be achieved only with the cooperation of the people of the state.
