According to the almanac, Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will begin on September 17 at 12:21 pm. At the same time, this date will end on September 17 at 11:39 pm. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, Vishwakarma Puja will be celebrated on 17 September.
Vishwakarma Jayanti Puja Vidhi
On the day of Vishwakarma Puja, clean all the tools, machines and workplace before worship. Then take a bath and wear clean clothes. Install an idol or picture of Lord Vishwakarma at the place of worship. Take a pledge of worship and invoke God. Prepare the ingredients required for worship such as Akshat, Flower, Sandalwood, Roli, incense, lamps, fruits, sweets and panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, Ganga water). Offer flowers, roli, sandalwood and akshat to Lord Vishwakarma. Apply tilak on all your tools and machines and offer flowers on them too. Perform Aarti of Lord Vishwakarma. Chant the mantra “Om Sri Vishwakarma Namah”. Finally, distribute prasad after worship and take yourself.
