Virat Singh, In the Group D match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Jharkhand defeated Rajasthan by 36 runs in a one-sided fashion. Jharkhand got this victory on the strength of Virat Singh, who scored a stormy half-century. Coming to the opening, this left-handed batsman scored 69 runs in 36 balls and hit 5 sixes and 4 fours from his bat. Kumar Kushagra also played an inning of 55 runs. Whereas Robin Minz scored 58 runs in 27 balls. Jharkhand batted first and scored 215 runs, in reply Rajasthan team could score only 179 runs.
Rajasthan’s defeat
Rajasthan team tried its best to achieve the target. Karan Lamba played an inning of 52 runs. Deepak Hooda scored 28 runs. Mahipal Lomror and Mukul Chaudhary also scored 25-25 runs but Sushant Mishra and Anukul Roy took 3-3 wickets and decided Rajasthan’s defeat. Rajandeep also took 2 wickets.
Jharkhand won all seven matches
Jharkhand has secured a place in the quarter-finals by securing the top position in Group D. This team won all seven matches. Rajasthan team has also qualified. This team got 6 wins out of 7. His only defeat came from Jharkhand only.

Ishan Kishan has scored 271 runs in 6 innings. In bowling, Sushant Mishra took 15 wickets and Anukul Roy took 14 wickets and won the match for the team.
Mohammed Shami also dominated
Mohammed Shami also bowled brilliantly in another match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He took 4 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs against Haryana. Akash Deep also took 2 wickets but despite this the Bengal team lost. Haryana scored 191 runs in 20 overs, in reply Bengal team could score only 167 runs.
