Kohli, who is in London with his family, involved in an intense practice session last for about two hours at the indoor nets at Lord’s, mentions a report on RevSportz.
After the practice session, Kohli was seen outside the stadium where the star Indian batter stopped for photographs with few fans. Pictures of Kohli’s brief meet-up with some fans went viral on social media on Saturday. The report further mentions that the batter practiced against both spin and pace playing a wide range of shots with great enthusiasm.

Kohli dismisses retirement rumours
Meanwhile, the rumours regarding Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement from ODIs started after the duo called it quits from the longest format of the game in the month of May. The Test retirement came an year after the duo called it quits from the T20Is after India emerged triumphant in the T20 World Cup 2024. Having already retired from two formats, it is being contemplated that retirement from the fifty-over game might come soon, with both the players remaining active in just the IPL.
But with Kohli seen at the nets, it looks like the star batter is aiming to represent Indian at the ODI World Cup 2027. India’s next ODI assignment, a three-match series against Australia is starting on October 19.
