Upasana Singh-Deepak Qazir viral video: Television actor Upasana Singh has levelled serious allegations against senior actor Deepak Qazir following a heated altercation at a Republic Day event on January 26. A video from the event has now surfaced online and has triggered widespread discussion across social media and the television industry.
The incident reportedly took place while Upasana Singh was addressing the audience on stage. Veteran star Poonam Dhillon was also present beside her.
Upasana Singh accuses Deepak Qazir of misbehaviour and assault
According to the viral clip, Upasana was midway through her speech when Deepak Qazir interrupted her loudly, calling out, “Madam, madam, one minute.” The Judaai actress reacted sharply, saying she was still speaking. The exchange quickly escalated when Deepak responded aggressively, stating that she would not continue speaking.
What followed was a tense confrontation in front of the audience. Deepak was seen pointing towards someone standing nearby and accusing them of saying something inappropriate. Moments later, the situation intensified as Deepak attempted to take the microphone from another individual. A brief scuffle broke out when a different person intervened and snatched the mic from Deepak’s hand. Several people then stepped in to calm him down.
During the confrontation, Upasana identified herself as the General Secretary of CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes’ Association). Deepak responded by saying he was formerly a senior vice-president, to which she firmly replied, “Tha” (was), underlining that he no longer holds the position.

Upasana made grave accusations against Deepak. She claimed that he had physically assaulted fellow actor Vikas Verma, saying, “He just hit Vikas Verma with slaps and punches.” She further alleged that Deepak behaved inappropriately with women at the event and questioned her disrespectfully, asking, “Tu kaun hai?” (Who are you?)
Deepak denied the allegations on the spot, insisting that he had not misbehaved. Upasana, however, stood by her claims and repeated that his conduct was unacceptable.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding any legal complaint or action taken following the incident. Neither Deepak Qazir nor his representatives have released a detailed statement addressing the allegations beyond what is seen in the video.
