VinFast entered the Indian market last year with its electric SUVs, and this is the first festive season for the brand in our market. It looks like VinFast is planning big for the festive season, as the brand has already started offering discounts and special offers on its lineup in India. Its recently launched 7-seater MPV is currently being offered with a massive discount of up to ₹4.5 lakh.
The VinFast MPV7 was officially launched in April this year. The MPV was launched at a starting price of ₹24.49 lakh, ex-showroom. It is a three-row, seven-seater MPV that rivals the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV in the segment. This festive season, VinFast has decided to sell the MPV at a special price.
As per a post circulating on social media platforms, the special price for the MPV7 starts at ₹20.39 lakh. Apart from the special price, VinFast is also offering an additional discount of ₹40,780 on the vehicle. This brings down the starting price of the MPV even further. After including the festive season offer, the starting price of the MPV7 comes down to ₹19.99 lakh, ex-showroom. When compared to the original price, this is ₹4.5 lakh less.
The MPV7 is a seven-seater MPV that measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,728 mm in height. It offers a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. It is a boxy-looking MPV with a front fascia similar to VinFast’s other products. There are signature V-shaped LED DRLs, split headlamps, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The cabin gets dual-tone options, leatherette upholstery, and a minimal-looking design with a large 10.1-inch touchscreen at the centre that also doubles up as the driver display and climate-control display.
Other features include a column-mounted drive selector, wireless phone charging, four airbags, a rear parking camera with sensors, an electronic parking brake, hill-hold assist, and TPMS.
The MPV7 is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack that powers the front wheels. The MPV offers a claimed range of 517 km and generates 201 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. This is the first time we have seen a VinFast product receive such a huge discount in our market.
The discount is not limited to the MPV7. The brand has also launched a version of the same MPV for the fleet market, called the Limo Green. The MPV is exclusively sold in the commercial market, and this festive season, the Limo Green is also being offered at a special price of ₹18.59 lakh, ex-showroom.
Apart from the special price, there is a festive offer of up to ₹37,180 on the MPV. This brings down the offer price of the Limo Green to ₹18.22 lakh, ex-showroom. The original price at which the Limo Green was launched in the market was ₹23 lakh, ex-showroom. Even the Limo Green is now being sold at a discount of ₹4.78 lakh, ex-showroom.
Interestingly, the difference between the Limo Green and the MPV7 after the discounts is around ₹1.68 lakh only.
VF6 & VF7
It is not just the MPVs; VinFast is also offering the VF6 SUV with a festive offer of up to ₹20,900, along with ICE-to-EV benefits worth ₹95,000.
VinFast’s flagship model in the Indian market, the VF7, is also attracting festive discounts. VinFast is offering a discount of up to ₹56,180, along with an ICE-to-EV benefit of up to ₹1.3 lakh.
