On this day, the Dhundhiraj form of Lord Ganesha is worshipped. According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month will start on February 20 at 2:38 pm. Chaturthi Tithi will end on 21st February at 1 pm. In such a situation, the fast of Vinayak Chaturthi will be observed on 21 February 2026.

Vinayak Chaturthi Puja Vidhi
On the day of Vinayak Chaturthi, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. Take a pledge to keep fast for the whole day. At the time of worship, install the idol of Lord Ganesha made of gold, silver, brass, copper or clay as per your devotion. Apply vermillion to Lord Ganesha and offer 21 Durva (grass).
